Precision mold fabrication by thick film / thin film plating
We specialize in plating in special fields and plating difficult-to-plate materials. Nanoimprint mold can be manufactured by directly plating the resist pattern produced by laser drawing or electron beam drawing. Due to the unique low-temperature plating technology, the heat applied to the resist is small, so changes in the resist shape can be minimized.
Kyowa Sangyo can perform plating from thin film plating of about 50 μm to 1000 μm (= 1 mm) or more, which is impossible with normal plating. Compatible with various optical molds such as aspherical lenses, Fresnel lenses, light guide plates, prism sheets, and optical mirrors.
Not only iron and stainless steel, but also difficult-to-plating materials such as aluminum, ceramics, and glass can be plated while maintaining adhesion, and we also support specially shaped dies such as roll dies and mesh dies.
